What are your goals for the race at Pocono?

“It’s the first time I will see Pocono.  So, with no practice and no qualifying, I just want a good start.  I want to take my time and learn how to get my time and learn how to get into the corners on the first stage.  I think we have a great CarQuest Ford F-150 Truck that we are taking to the track and I just want to minimize mistakes and try to learn and to go home with a solid finish.”

Shane Whitbeck, crew chief of the No. 04 CarQuest Auto Parts Ford F-150

What are your goals for the race at Pocono?

“Going into Pocono we have done a lot of work on getting Cory ready for his race.  He has never been there so his first lap around this place is when the green flag comes out.  I feel all of his hard work is going to pay off and we will be able to run in the top 15 by the end of stage two and that will put us in a good spot to get our first Top 10 this year. Everybody at Roper Racing has been doing a great job on getting our CarQuest Ford F-150 ready to race with good speed.”
